Railway Recruitment 2020: The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) has invited applications for the post of apprentice on its official website: rrc-wr.com. Candidates can apply for the posts from today onwards till February 6. Western Railway plans to fill 3,553 posts through the recruitment drive.

Candidates will be selected on merit. Railways will take the average class 10 and ITI exam. Equal weightage will be given to both.

Date of online application submission: January 7 - February 6, 2020

Merit list: February 13

Documents verification: February 28.

Selected candidates will undergo training for one year beginning from April 1, 2020.

Railway Recruitment 2020: Eligibility criteria
Age: The applicant should be at least 15-year-old. The upper age limit is capped at 24 years.

Education: Applicants should have cleared class 10 or 12 with at least 50 per cent of marks along with an ITI certificate affiliated from NCVT or SCVT.

Railway job: Salary

Selected candidates will get a salary in the range of Rs 18,000 – Rs 56,900.

Level 2: Rs 19,900 - 63,200
Level 1: Rs 18,000 - 56,900

RRB Level-1 2019: Registration for 100,000 posts starts today; how to apply


According to the latest notification, the application process for Level-1 or Group D will be activated at 5 pm today.


The Indian Railways will begin its recruitment drive for Level-1 posts starting 12 March, 2019.

The recruitment board is looking to hire 100,000 employees for Level-1 posts while the rest 30,000 posts are of paramedical staff, non-technical popular categories (NTPC), ministerial and isolated categories.

According to the latest notification, the application process will be activated at 5 pm today. Interested candidates can now apply for the posts by going through the official website-- www.indianrailways.gov.in or click here for direct link

The advertisement for Level-1 or Group D vacancies was published by the Indian Railways on February 23, 2019. (Refer Employment News to check the ad.)

Following are the details which every candidates are requested to keep in mind:
General candidates will have to pay Rs 500 as part of examination fee. Out of the Rs 500 an amount of Rs 400 shall be refunded duly after deducting bank charges. While Rs 250 will be charged for candidates filing under reserved categories (ST/SC/OBCs)
The examintaion will be held based on computer-based test. Candidates clearing CBT will be shortlisted for the next round i.e Physical Efficiency Test (PET), followed by verification of documents.

Note: There will be negative marking and 1/3 mark shall be deducted for each wrong answer.

Step 3: Fill in the required details in the application form

Step 4: Upload a scanned picture of yours along with your signature

Step 6: Pay online the application fee

Reminder: Save and print the e-challan of your payment. Also, take a print out of your form for further references

RRB Group C ALP & Technician exam 2018 begins today: All you need to know 


The candidates can download the RRB ALP and Technician Admit Card and RRB Group D admit card (hall ticket) from the official website indiarail.gov.in.


RRB Group C ALP & Technician exam 2018: The Railway Recruitment Board has activated links to download Group D Admit Card for RRB Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) and Technician exam on Thursday, August 9. The exam is to be held on August 13, 2018. Earlier, the Board had released the calendar of issuing admit card for ALP and Technician exams, scheduled to be held from August 9 to 31, 2018. Meanwhile, around 4.7 million (47 lakh) railway job aspirants are participating in the first computer-based test today at various examination centres.


The candidates can download the RRB ALP and Technician 2018 Admit Card and RRB Group D admit card (hall ticket) from the official website indianrailways.gov.in. For direct link of respective zones click here


No call letters would be sent via e-mail. Candidates should, therefore, note that they must download these from the right website. Admission to the examination hall without the call letter/admit card/hall ticket is strictly prohibited.


Here's how to download the RRB ALP admit card 2018:

Step 1: Candidates can go to the official website of the RRB zone for which he/she made the application, or visit indianrailways.gov.in

Step 2: Click on the recruitment tab available on indianrailways.gov.in

Step 3: Then it will take you to the list of RRBs portals (zone-wise)

Step 4: Candidates can click on the relevant RRB website

Step 6: Then you have to click on the link named Admit Card of 1st stage Computer Based Test (CBT) for recruitment to ALP & Technicians Centralized Employment Notice No. 01/2018(English)

Step 7: A new window will open and candidates can log in using the registration number and date of birth

Step 8: Download the RRB AlP and Technicians admit card 2018 and take a printout

Step 9: Take the printout of admit card mentioning the exam centre and exam date

Step 10: Don't forget to bring the admit card to the examination centre
