Comio, a home-grown smartphone brand, on June 18 launched the Comio C1 Pro at Rs 5,599. The smartphone comes in three colours – metallic grey, sunrise gold and royal black. The phone will be available through retail stores and online platforms such as Snapdeal, Flipkart, Amazon, ShopClues and Paytm.
The Comio C1 Pro sports a 5-inch screen of HD (1280 x 720p) resolution. It is powered by a MediaTek 6739 quad-core processor, paired with 1.5GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage -- expandable via microSD card. The dual-SIM phone supports dual VoLTE and ViLTE. It sports an 8-megapixel primary camera and a 5MP selfie camera. The phone boots Android Oreo 8.1 operating system and takes the power from a 2,500 mAh battery.
In terms of features, the phone supports a face unlock mechanism, which uses the front camera as a biometric tool to scan the face to unlock the device. The phone comes loaded with Venus browser and supports Indian regional languages. The phone also supports bike mode, which turns off all the notifications on the device when the user is riding a bike and automatically responds with the message to the caller notifying them that person is riding a bike and will call back later.
The phone comes with one year and 100 days warranty with an assured 30 days replacement, in certain cases of manufacturing defects. Comio is also offering a special buyback and upgrade offer, in which users can trade-in old Comio smartphone and get an assured return of 40 per cent on devices not older than 12 months.
The phone comes bundled with Rs 2,200 cashback offer from Reliance Jio. To avail the Jio cashback offer, Comio C1 Pro users need to make a monthly recharge of Rs 198 or Rs 299. On a successful recharge, a user gets 44 vouchers of Rs 50 each that can be redeemed on further recharges – one voucher at a time.
